Adam’s Rooting tooting Air Fryer Chicken Wings Recipe!!
Yum! these will burn your buttocks the next day!
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of Epicure BBQ Wing seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of paprika (optional)
- Your favorite wing sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, etc.) I use my own here
Instructions
- Prep the Chicken Wings
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps them crisp up. - Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, Epicure BBQ Wing seasoning, and paprika. Toss the chicken wings in the mixture until they are evenly coated. - Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. - Arrange the Wings:
- Bread your wings (Optional)

6. Now if you want your wings breaded you can do this next:
- Run the chicken wings in an egg wash with your favorite spices,
- place the wings into your breadcrumbs and then back to step 1 again for a 2nd coating, if desired.
Place the seasoned chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure they aren’t overcrowded to allow for even cooking, you will need to cook them in batches.
7. Air Fry the Wings:
Cook the wings at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes. Flip them halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness.
- Check for Doneness
Make sure the internal temperature of the wings reaches at least 165°F (74°C). If you prefer them extra crispy, you can cook them for an extra 5 minutes. - Toss in Sauce (Optional)
Once cooked, transfer the wings to a bowl. Add your favorite wing sauce. Toss the wings until they are coated. Once coated in the sauce, put them back in for an extra 5 minutes. This will coat the BBQ sauce onto your wings. - Serve
Serve right away with celery sticks and carrots plus your choice of dipping sauce.
