These air fryer chicken wings are coated with a fiery homemade Buffalo sauce for a crowd-pleasing game day snack without the mess! No need to fry in all that oil when you can get crispy wings straight out of the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ pounds chicken wings
  • 1 ½ cups of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon of paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Sauce to your heart’s desire

Directions

Preping!

  1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
  2. In a bowl, mix starch, paprika, salt, garlic, chilli powder, and cumin.

Let’s cook!

  1. Place wings in a large bowl
  2. . Mix in the starch spice blend, coating the wings entirely. Also add your oil at this point.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook in the preheated air fryer for 28 minutes at 360F. Use tongs to flip wings at the 11-minute mark. Then cook until golden brown and crisp on the outside; cook for 5 minutes more. Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl; cover to keep warm. Repeat with remaining wings.

Sauce your naked wings!

  1. Pour your favorite wing sauce into a bowl and put your cooked wings into the bowl, mixing the sauce into the wings.
  2. Place your wings back into the hot air fryer at 360F for 10min to make the sauce stick to the wings and give it that nice restaurant coating of sauce.

Notes on cooking:

Please note differences in ingredient amounts when making a version of this recipe for yourself. Doing the wings this way will make them come out crispy and crunchy!
